Brussels Sprout Groninger is an easy to grow, steady producing variety. With medium to small sprouts, they are an ideal choice for first timers. Sprouts form a tight head and maintain a delicate flavor even in variable weather. Can handle a light frost and will improve in flavor with the cold weather.
After harvesting, to help maintain moisture and freshness, place them in your vegetable crisper in the refrigerator and keep them on the stalks until you’re ready to use them. Brussels sprouts are believed to have potent, anticancer properties. They are also an excellent source of protein, vitamin C and vitamin K.
