Zucchini Ronde de Nice is a prolific French heirloom ball zucchini that produces small, round fruits that are very tender and have an excellent flavour. The plants are large and very prolific. Tastiest when picked under 10 cm. Harvest them at golf ball size for eating whole or slightly larger for slicing into stir fries.
Round courgettes are very popular in Europe where they are often cooked and stuffed with meat or eggplant and tomatoes. This versatile, round fruited variety can be cropped at different sizes depending on your preferred recipe. The delicate flesh and skin bruise easily, which is why they are not seen in supermarkets.
