Rockmelon Cream Cobra is an unusual heirloom variety that produces large oblong melons with smooth, yellow skin which splits & peels back when ripe – resembling a cobra’s hood.
The flesh is dryer than other melons with both an unusual flavour & distinctive smell.
It is not as sweet as other varieties, but still flavoursome especially when drizzled with honey or served with ice-cream.
Marigolds can be inter-planted, as they act as a natural insect and pest repellent.
