Mustard Green Osaka Purple is a Japanese mustard green with a nice spicy kick. The leaves start dark green and change to purple as the plant matures.
Purple tinged leaves may be harvested at the baby leaf stage, for a milder, sweeter flavour. As the plant grows, leaves expand and become quite large, and spicy hot!
A good addition to a stir fry or to crunch on raw to enjoy the natural spice! The flowers and flower stems are also edible making it a very versatile vegetable.
