Description
Endive Salad King an heirloom variety of Italian origin, a giant variety with long crinkly green leaves and a white stem. It is related to chicory and has a pleasant and smooth, yet bitter taste.
Slow to bolt, frost tolerant and produces well even under difficult conditions.
It can be cooked as a leaf vegetable but most commonly used raw in salad mixes.

To protect your seeds from moisture and the letter box munchers (snails), we use a very special plastic free material made from plants. They are then put into recycled mailing envelopes.
