A wonderful eggplant from Ping Tung, Taiwan. Eggplant Ping Tung Long has attractive, slender rosy-mauve fruits that grow on foot high, disease-resistant plants. Harvest at around 20cm, when they are perfect for stir-fries and heavenly in Thai-style red curry.
This variety is so sweet and tender, superbly delicious! One of the best eggplants on the market. It is a thin skinned fruit which does not need to be peeled to be eaten. Ideal for slicing and grilling.
