Chilli Tepin is a wild chili from Central America, also known as a Birds Eye Chilli or Chiltepins.
The plant grows to about 1,5 meter in a pot and is an awesome producer. The pods are shaped more like a berry, This chili has a long history and is called the “Mother Of All Chilli’s”, because it’s the oldest of the Capsicum Annuum species and possibly the oldest strain known.
Don’t let their small size deceive you, this little pepper is very spicy with a searing hot burn. If you love hot chilli, salsa, and stews, this is the chilli for you.
