Bean Strike are one of the heaviest yielding bush beans on the market. Perfect for the home garden, and favoured by large scale producers for their ability to ship and store well. As a bush bean, you can grow it in containers or in the open with minimum support. They start bearing early, and keep on producing over an extended harvest .
Strike is a heavy yielding 12cm stringless bean with a great flavour, perfect for all types of cooking and for eating raw. The beans have a very pleasant texture when cooked, and they maintain their flavour after freezing for winter use. Beans should be picked while the pods still snap as they get tough and stringy if allowed to grow too big. If beans are picked when they are ready, the plants will continue producing for several weeks.
