Basil Gecofure

Basil Gecofure is a compact and disease-resistant variety of Genovese basil with a very aromatic scent and taste.

Bred for leaf quality and uniformity this basil has a very unique aroma and flavour; it is one of the more compact types and is excellent for growing in smaller herb gardens or pots.

As with most basil it is quite easy to grow and is quite ornamental in looks.

Use in pasta dishes, pesto sauce and salads.

Basils lose flavour quickly in cooking and should be added late in the preparation of the dish.
